Annakolia is back - power restored last night. I got a call, automated, about 9 pm saying yey, your power is restored, let us know if we can help you in the future - BUT - our power was NOT restored.
Several block were still without power - i called and told the power company, "funny joke, so it does not take Einstein to see all the houses here do NOT have power - and now i am having to re-report it *sighs* not to mention i think we were the last in all Toledo to get repairs.
It did not last the 11 days it did about 10 years ago - so i suppose we need to be greatful *glares across the street at neighbors who's power NEVER WENT OUT* oh well.
Kept the house semi heated with a kerosene space heater - outside in the single digits and inside about 56 or 57.
Power went back on about 12:30 to 1 AM last night.

With Wolfgang skating more - in fact all the time in Ann Arbor MI, and that including Friday mornings it would seem, i would like to find a better time for Halflings to play.
Could ALL Halfings in Annakol the original Halfling Heaven game, please give some availability times.

Barry, maybe you can live vicariously through Wolfgang, watching from the warmth of inside while you watch HIM shoveling outside, through the window. :)
This is such an uplifting and happy thought - yes with more white stuff coming down right now i shall have to do exactly that = get my laptop setup next to the window so i can play on Annakolia and watch Wolfgang shovel snow at the same time - have my HOT tea at my side and kick back and enjoy.
WHAT -- ONLY TWO MORE WEEKS OF RESTRICTIONS --- NOOOOOOOOO - come on Spring hurry up!!!

They won't let me shovel snow yet - boy do I miss it *hysterical laughter* I could be out there in the cold enjoying each shovel load of the cold wet stuff, instead I have to sit here inside, in the warm house, doing nothing *sighs* it just isn't fair - you all get to do the fun stuff.

This was my fault for not being there. I was not feeling well, had done a lot of work shoveling snow and cleaning up Christmas decor, taking down the tree and all and completely forgot what day it was and what time.
I am normally there - hope this will be forgiven as it is not the norm for me. Sorry I was not there.

ROA is running under the new Beamdog NWN EE beta Grab your Copy here, you cannot use earlier versions of NWN - only the new NWN EE by Beamdog.
NWN EE by Beamdog is NOT backward compatible with NWN versions of the past - ONLY this new, currently beta, version will work with Realms of Annakolia.

There is an update with two haks that need updating:

You cannot at this time get this from the download page. I don't know why but all my changes are not showing up - contacting the hosting service to complain.
These changes add material for the yule season:
red nosed deer
stockings
yule trees
wraped gifts
candles
cookies
cookies on tray
snowman
yule table with tree and gifts
to name most of the new materials.
These will be worked into the new seasonable activities much like the October activities and hunt. Please make sure you update.

Sorry, i thought i posed that this was up but i guess i did not.
An update to the update was necessary - the two files are separated in the rar from the previous update. These two files:
annakol_class.hak
cep22_anna6.tlk
Need to be updated to the previous files.
If you did not have the update at all you need the others in the folder below but the these two in the root folder to overwrite and bring up-to-date.

Oh i shall have to drag out the telescopes now. With proper setup we can see most all Jupiter's moons. Problem is, Ohio does not give us good viewing contitions as often as we would wish - lots of mist and overcast skys or downright cloudy or worse.

Annakolia has added three new interior tilesets and changes/improvements made to the spells and custom classes. These require download of updated haks.

Since the tlk was changed, you will not be able to get on Annakolia without downloading the update.
I am uploading a new full hak set that will be up to date with this current update.

Custom Summons:
On Annakolia, some creatures can be captured by those who are able to use the summon creature spells. The creature will be identified as a computable summons in its name ID which will also state its summons level.
A summons lvl 1 will require a level 1 summons creature spell or higher to capture.
A level 9 summons will require a level nine capture summons spell.
First one must acquire a custom summons book, available from Jania the Priestess outside the Feisty Chicken Inn.
- There are six slots – six creatures may be captured.
- You will set any newly captured creature to the line you have activated so if it is a line with a previously captured creature, you will overwrite that previous capture.
- Toggle between capture and summons mode is in the book.
- You must me in capture mode to capture – and you will roll against the creature’s DC to capture so it is NOT a certainty.
- Target an appropriate or higher level summons creature spell ON THE GROUN (you cannot target the creature with this spell) next to the creature you are attempting to capture.
If all goes well you will capture the creature and have it listed in your book.
To summons:
- Select the line with your creatures name.
- Make certain you toggled to summon, away from capture.
- Cast the proper level summon creature spell.
- There are six slots – six creatures may be captured.
Royal Wedding in England

Might be but if so - well those involved are not so grand and happy persona as in England - this would be a wedding of HRM King Emeries and the Baroness Zoe who is interested in power.
Emeries has put her off knowing full well what she seeks and once married his life would be forfeit however, the Baroness is not without powerful magical persuasions as well as having a certain god on her side who might/might-not see fit to help.
These wedding rumors continue to surface ever so often but so far nothing has come of them.
