  1. Poseidon Domains: Water, Destruction The god of the seas, earthquakes and streams. Poseidon rules over all water, and so his clergy generally have an affection with water, whether from oceans, rivers or even small streams. A powerful cleric of Poseidon will use it to the extend of its destructive force. The seas however are whimsical things, at times as quiet and soothing as a small puddle, yet at other times destructive and cruel as a storm. The same goes for Poseidon, he can be a quiet comforting deity towards his followers, giving them save travels across oceans and rivers. Yet
  2. Pan, God of Nature and Wild Passion Pan is a god of fertility, unbridled wild passion and desire but is also regarded as god of shepherds and flocks. Symbol: A reed pipe (pipes of Pan) or a crown of pine needles. Domains: Animal, Earth, Trickery, Water. Portfolio: Fauns, fertility, flocks, mountain streams, music, nymphs, satyrs, shepherds and shepherdess. The parentage of Pan is unclear though in some myths he is the son of Zeus this is not universally accepted, however, all though in all accounts his mother is said to have been a nymph. He is depicted as a satyr
  3. Finnavar: Also known as the “king of the fairies” (fey) Finnavar is the god of pleasure and enjoyment, who also has a great liking for gold. He is sometimes referred to as the lord of the dead, for he ‘collects’ the fallen brownies and fairies and turns them into gold. This is to stop their souls from roaming about freely across the world and causing havoc. His wife, Diaone Sidhe, comes just after him to save the souls from this imprisonment and send them to the afterlife. He is mischievous by nature and not one that you should simply trust when you encounter him. Finnavar likes to play
  4. Dionysos/Bacchus Domains: Plants, Travel Bacchus or Dionysos are two identities of the same god. Mostly seen as a god of drunken party-animals he in fact started out as a fertility god. He just has a nick for good whine and doesn’t mind a good party. He is displayed either as a young man with blushed cheeks and a cup in his hand, encircled with a vine of ivy. This is the image most often seen as it is most appealing to his female followers, and it fits best within the idea of a carefree god of parties and spirits. His other appearance is that of a goat or a bull. This has led to th
  5. Bast - The Cat Goddess Bast (or Bastet) is an ancient Alishan Goddess who appears as either a woman with the head of a domestic or wild cat, or in animal form as a wide variety of feline breeds. Bast followers treat the cat as a revered animal, often pampering to the whims of the felines and treating them better than they would treat their own family. The Goddess herself is perceived by other religions as untrustworthy, as she is self-obsessed and focused upon her own gratification. She governs the realm of 'pleasure' in the ancient Alishan pantheon, which extends to all forms of plea

  7. Set - God of Night Set, like Ra, was worshipped solely on Alisha Island. His followers shared the Ra temples, holding night time vigils whilst Ra was in the underworld and then vanishing to their naturally secretive lives before Ra awoke with the dawn. Set, in turn, would retreat to the Underworld at this time and return at sunset. Unlike Ra, the Set followers have always been secretive, thus their mysterious nature is not related to the vanishing of the Ra clergy. He is/was an Alishan god of chaos who embodied the principle of hostility if not of outright evil. He was associated w
  8. Hecate Symbol: Crescent Moon Worshipers' Alignments: All evil alignments and neutrals who are working with magic. Hecate is deity of the underworld and companion to Persephone. She is known as the queen of the night and the goddess of the crossroads. Those whom she favours can move safely in darkness. She can appear as a woman with three faces, turned in three directions. In addition, Hecate can appear with three heads; a long-maned horse, a furious hell hound, and a terrible serpent. Followers know her as the goddess that gives and takes away. As a night wanderer she uses
  9. Dolorian Domains: Evil, Trickery The god of pain and suffering is often feared and hated, which is a logical human response. However, it is also somewhat short-sighted as pain is not all bad. Without pain one would constantly hurt oneself without any chance to notice it. In fact was it not for feeling pain the entire nature of healing would be falling apart, as healers would have a very hard time to determine what is wrong with a patient if they cannot tell or indicate where they are hurting. Dolorian himself doesn't care one bit for helping the healers of the land with pain, unles

  11. MASK - Lord of Shadows Mask is a deity who has been alledged to have had a loss in power. Many other religions percieve Mask as a Lesser Deity. Mask is the god of rogues, thieves, and is the lord of shadows. He appears as a lithe man garbed in dark clothing and a cloak of shadows. He always wears a black velvet mask, tinged with red; this has also become his symbol. Mask is very self-possessed and confident - often too confident for his own good. All that which occurs within shadow is in the purview of Mask. Ownership is nine-tenths of what is right. Previous ownership does not c
  12. Kebunam, the Executioner Domains -none- Clerical Domains - Destruction, Evil. Kebunam is as much a god as it is merely some form of higher being, perhaps at a time it was a messenger of some god or maybe a champion or such. Regardless Kebunam evolved into something much more sinister. Kebunam is a huge lizardlike creature who dwells in hot humid regions. It has eyes that can see all around and arms that he can turn into razor-sharp scythes at will. Hence his nickname, The Executioner. Kebunam possesses the power to look into people's minds and take their worst nightmares. He wi
  13. Hades - God of the Underworld, Wealth and Death The elder brother of Zeus, God of the Air, Hades rarely leaves his underground kingdom, here the dead reside, and fade, after death; Cerberus and Charon guard the other gate to his realm. Symbol: A dark and open faced helm. Clerical Domains: Death, Earth, Healing, Protection. Hades, alone, of all the gods holds the right to restore life to the truely dead; a right which he guards jealously so much so that those that strive to live on after their rightful time atract is attention and his ire. So long has Hades resided in the
  14. Aisha: Mistress of Night, the Gatherer of Souls Kharados the Mage was a powerful man, and like all powerful men he loved beautiful things; his beautiful mansions, his beautiful tower, his beautiful gardens, his beautiful treasury and, most of all, his beautiful elven wife Arvalan. Yet Kharados feared, as all, powerful, men do, one thing – Kharados feared his own death. And so he honed his magic and, by hiding his heart in the shadowy folds of magics mantle he held the hand of Hades at bay - and over the ages the wrath of Hades grew. Then there came a time of joy to Arvalan, though

  16. Talos, the Destroyer Talos is the destructive force of nature. He is the god of storms, forest fires, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, and general destruction. Symbol: A clench, mauled fist amid a stylised tornado or an ice encrusted great axe. Domains: Air, Destruction, Strength. Portfolio: Cruelty, stubbornness and loyalty, cold, despair, pain, suffering and winter, Talos is usually encountered as titanic, bellowing laughter in the heart of a gale. Sometimes the laughter is accompanied by two eyes like giant blazing coals, which are surrounded by swirling maelstro
  17. Lolth – Demon Queen of Spiders, Weaver of Chaos Lolth the Spider Queen is cruel and malicious, constantly plotting to ensure that the strongest and most cunning of her followers rise to serve her; all spiders are sacred to her and to kill or harm one of her children is an offence punishable by death. Symbol: A black spider with the head of a female drow hanging from a web. Clerical Domains: Death, Destruction, Evil, Magic, Trickery. Portfolio: Chaos, Darkness, Deceit, Murder and Evil. In times past the goddess Arushnee inspired the Dark Kindreds to battle in wars not o
  18. Loki - The Mischievous Loki has emerged as a deity across the entirety of Galandar in many forms. Some consider Loki to be nothing more than mischeivous, wheras others deem Loki to be highly chaotic and evil. This spread in opinions is, in itself, typical of Lokis nature who seems to be surrounded in many contradictions. One such contradiction is his or her appearance. Loki is typically thought to appear as a middle-aged to elderly male with black hair and beard. However, Loki has also appeared as a beguiling woman, again with flowing black hair, lending support to the idea that Loki is
